osvalda sennecaOsvalda Senneca holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II and is currently Head of Research at the Institute of Science and Technology for Sustainable Energy and Mobility (STEMS) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Naples. She has served as "Gastprofessor" at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), within the Chair of Thermochemical Carbon Conversion, and is a Mercator Fellow of the German Research Foundation (DFG). In 2022, she was a member of the PNRR-PNIEC Commission (Recovery Fund for Energy) at the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition. She is ranked among the world’s Top 2% Scientists according to the Stanford Career Rankings (2018–2023) and serves as Editor of the Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis (Q1, Elsevier).
